Aberrant Expression of CD56 on CD38 Positive Neutrophils as a Novel Diagnostic Tool in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

Overview

Chronic myeloid leukemia is a myelo-proliferative neoplasm characterized by abnormal proliferation of myeloid cells. There is an accumulation of mature granulocytes in the blood and bone marrow. The aim of the study is to study expression of CD38 and CD56 in patients with Chronic myeloid leukemia.

Interventions

  • Diagnostic test cd 38 and cd 56
    prescence of high percentage of cd38 and cd 56

Primary outcome measures

  • an increased change in cd 38 and cd 56 in chronic leukemic patients [Time frame: 6 months]

Inclusion criteria

  • patients with chronic myeloid leukemia

Exclusion criteria

  • other hematological diseases
