Официальное название

Effect of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability Exercises With and Without Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation on Balance, Proprioception, and Performance Among Badminton Players With Lateral Ankle Sprain

Обзор

To examine the effects of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability exercises with and without Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation on balance, proprioception, and functional performance in badminton players with lateral ankle sprain.

Подробное описание

A randomized controlled trial compared Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), balance training, and conventional rehabilitation in amateur athletes with chronic ankle sprain. The findings demonstrated that both DNS and balance training significantly improved ankle stability, balance, reaction time, and functional performance, highlighting their effectiveness in rehabilitation.

A quasi-experimental study investigated the effects of ankle proprioceptive training in recreational badminton players with pronated feet. The intervention resulted in significant improvements in agility, dynamic balance, and ankle function compared with conventional training.

Another study evaluated neuromuscular training with and without kinesio taping in football players following ankle sprain. Both interventions effectively reduced pain and improved range of motion, balance, and functional performance, while the addition of kinesio taping produced greater clinical benefits.

A randomized study assessed the effectiveness of a six-week neuromuscular training program in individuals with lateral ankle sprain. The intervention significantly enhanced muscle strength, proprioception, balance, range of motion, and overall functional recovery compared with routine training.

A pilot randomized trial examined rhythmic auditory stimulation-based gait training in older adults undergoing rehabilitation. The intervention significantly improved gait speed and demonstrated its feasibility as an effective rehabilitation strategy.

A randomized controlled trial evaluated the effects of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization on functional movement. The results showed that DNS training produced significant improvements in movement quality and functional performance compared with conventional physical fitness exercises.

Вмешательства

  • Другое Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization with Rhythmic Auditory Stimulation
The intervention was progressively advanced over six weeks. Baseline treatment included warm-up exercises, stretching, and basic balance training with rhythmic auditory cues. During Week 2, participants performed DNS breathing and core stabilization exercises, proprioceptive training, and Theraband ankle strengthening. In Week 4, advanced DNS postures, dynamic balance, and functional movement exercises were introduced with increased rhythmic cueing. By Week 6, participants progressed to advanced
