    Shoulder instability surgery encompasses procedures aimed at restoring stability to the glenohumeral joint following recurrent dislocations or subluxations. Bankart repair (anterior or posterior) involves reattaching the detached labrum to the glenoid rim and tightening the associated capsulolabral structures to restore joint stability.
